Like a lot of bloggers I've often found that there are better books on my shelves than some of the contemporary fiction heavily marketed as the next big thing! Good luck.Vintage Readinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05971819409379613967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-243923798905252664.post-86130862329401328872016-03-15T22:51:09.457-07:002016-03-15T22:51:09.457-07:00My husband keeps saying we should own a bookstore ...My husband keeps saying we should own a bookstore someday but it seems like a headache to me...especially after this task! The DK book has a ton of wonderful pictures (as is to be expected) and quite a bit of information. I'm planning on a semester of UK/Ireland history and culture, but I had wanted to do individual units on Wales, Ireland, Scotland, and England. Now I'm thinking it'll be better to do the history all together chronologically and do separate cultural units (if that makes any sense.) I wish Sonlight had a program for this!Melodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08151339860580266808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-243923798905252664.post-21491808124116276612016-03-15T22:35:55.321-07:002016-03-15T22:35:55.321-07:00Yep, I think I need to take a break from them. I've accomplished that, I think, but it is still a lot of work for me.Melodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08151339860580266808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-243923798905252664.post-20792741021087318932016-03-13T15:45:13.291-07:002016-03-13T15:45:13.291-07:00I'm reading more steadily than the end of last...I'm reading more steadily than the end of last year. I can't imagine finding homes for all of those books. I guess that's a lesson in business--wow, you have to know your market. They needed you to pick out their books. :) How's the DK book on the history of Britain and Ireland? It looks great.Heidi’sbookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15647096496574605262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-243923798905252664.post-74895951727720494712016-03-09T10:48:13.996-08:002016-03-09T10:48:13.996-08:00I'm with you on the audiobooks. The only ones I've actually put effort into were the Harry Potter series and even then it was at night while I was falling to sleep listening to 1-2 chapters at a time!Geoffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03840692596106189989noreply@blogger.com
